Terms & Conditions for Junior Trail Ride Experience

Physical Fitness

To lead a pony on the Junior Trail ride experience, you will need to be physically fit, able and capable.  The trail ride is approx 2km in length and will take place over some rough surfaces, a minor creek crossing and some reasonably steep hills.  There will be opportunity to stop half way up the hills to catch your breath, and there is the mini picnic at the halfway point.

Foot wear

Please wear suitable shoes for walking over rough surfaces or muddy areas.

Confident with Animals (Ponies)

You will be required to attend the 15 minute Pony Leading Induction prior to the commencement of the trail ride. You will be given instruction on leading a pony and will have the opportunity to practice under observation in an enclosed area.

It is imperative that you pay attention to your instructor and ask questions if you missed anything.

If you are late and miss the induction, you will not be able to participate and will forfeit your payment.

There will be 2 pony assistant team members on the trail ride available to assist and lend a hand at anytime, you only need to call out - that is what they are there for.

Our ponies are well used to being led around for pony rides and are calm and kind, but if you don't feel that you are confident enough to lead a pony, it is recommended that you hire one of our pony assistant team members or bring a confident person with you.

Waiver

To participate in our hand led trail ride, the parent or guardian is required to sign the waiver prior to the ride.  If you fail to sign the waiver, you will not be able to participate and will forfeit your payment.
