Kids Party Entertainment business Balloonaversal Entertainments started out as Mrs Balloonatic the Clown in 1997. Michelle ballooned her way around the UK and parts of Europe, entertaining and gaining a reputation for top-notch parties.
Back home in Melbourne, the demand for roving balloon modeling entertainment at kids parties and events helped Mrs Balloonatic establish her growing reputation. That as well as face painting for children’s birthday parties plus regular appearances at many of Melbourne’s shopping centers further expanded the Mrs Balloonatic brand.
Ponies For Kids Party Entertainment
In 2000, Michelle bought two four-legged business companions, miniature ponies Jeremiah and Tabitha to add a further dimension to her growing children’s entertainment business.
The Pony Pantomime show was born and quickly took off along with the Groovy Glamour Pony parties. Two years later, Pony Rides were added as a popular staple for kids party entertainment. Now there are a total of 13 ponies in the team… you can see them all on our ‘Meet Our Ponies‘ page.
Michelle very quickly became the industry leader in original & creative ideas for pony parties and continues to set the pace for some of the most professional and beautifully put together pony parties with her beautiful ponies, hence the motto: “Balloonaversal Pony Parties – so much more than just pony rides”!
Peter Patterson - Mr Balloonatic
In 2000 Michelle met Peter Patterson who became the love of her live and in March of 2001 became husband and wife .... or Mr and Mrs Balloonatic. Not long after, Peter, a restaurateur and chef, joined in the fun and activities as Pirate Pete/Mr. Balloonatic. His natural creative talents enabled him to design and twist all manner of balloon creations, large or small, bringing a great amount of interest of the balloon design side of the business. Being able to produce unique and original creations to clients requirements has become his hallmark, and is much enjoyed by all.
Balloonaversal Entertainments - Always Popular
Because of the great reputation Peter and Michelle have developed over the years as professional, reliable and fun children’s entertainers, booking availability became tight at certain busy times of the year, so the business grew to include fifteen additional exciting, young entertainers, all personally trained by Peter and Michelle. Mrs Balloonatic the Clown became as it is know today – Balloonaversal Entertainments and now offers more variety and more availability to meet client needs.
