Calling all horse-mad kids aged 8–12! Our 4 hour Equestrian Training Program is the perfect way to fuel your child’s passion for ponies – combining real learning, hands-on experiences, and serious fun in a safe, supportive setting.
This isn’t your typical riding school session – it’s an exciting, ever-evolving journey into the world of horsemanship, designed especially for young riders who want more. Whether they dream of one day owning their own pony or just love everything horsey, they’ll be in heaven!
What to expect:
Mini Horsemanship Lessons – Bite-sized lessons that cover everything from grooming to lunging, float-loading, and more
Riding Lesson Time – On quiet and gentle Welsh Mountain ponies, in a full sized, enclosed riding arena with an instructor and assistant, aiding the kids should they need it.
Practical Handling Skills – Real hands on experience learning some ground work and natural horsemanship skills
Mounted & Unmounted Games – Skill-building activities designed for fun, confidence, and teamwork
Mini Pony Time – Up-close experiences with our adorable minis, learning how to handle and care for them
Achievement Badges – Each session earns a collectible badge to pin on their own Little Riders Club hat (available for purchase!)
Michelle Patterson, our warm and experienced lead instructor, along with her incredible team, helps each child gain confidence, independence, and unforgettable memories.

Arrive 20 min early
Registration
So that we can start on time, Please ensure you arrive 20 min early. We'll need to get the kids registered, have waivers signed, and assigned to a group.
Bring Lunch & Snacks
Lunch break
Bring their lunch box and some snacks and a drink. I'll have either picnic rugs or the common room in the barn. The kids will have a 30 min break for lunch

What TO EXPECT
A Mini Equestrian Class Your Child Will Never Forget
Looking for the ultimate school holiday treat for your pony-loving child aged 6 to 8? This fun-filled pony experience is bursting with exciting activities, hands-on learning, and unforgettable memories – it's the perfect way to spend a day in the countryside!
Your child will enjoy three action-packed sessions, including:
A 60-minute hand-led trail ride through stunning natural scenery
A fun and engaging lesson on pony care and safety
A creative horse-themed activity Hands-on grooming, handling, and leading our adorable miniature ponies
And to top it all off – your little rider will take home a special horsy balloon creation, learning badges for each special topic on the day and a cute participation certificate to pin up at home
We’ll also capture every smile, giggle, and pony cuddle with a professional photo package. You’ll receive a Dropbox link with 10–15 beautiful images of your child enjoying their pony-packed day.
It’s safe, educational, and so much fun – a dream day for every young pony fan and suitable for nervous beginners.

The 'Little Riders Club - Mini Equestrians' is one of Balloonaversal Entertainment's favoured school holiday pony riding experiences for children age 6 - 12.
Owning a pony of your own isn't always practical for many families. The Little Riders Club provides a perfect experience to fill that void. It also gives kids the opportunity to get outside and experience life on a farm, getting to know their pony pals.
